Jessica Steen is a Canadian actress who has appeared on television and film. Her characters include Captain Power and the Soldiers of the Future. Homefront, Earth 2 Armageddon. NCIS Flashpoint, Left Behind: World at War.



 



 Personal life



 Jessica Steen was born in Toronto (Ontario) to Joanna Noyes, an actor and director, as well as Jan Steen who is a director and actor. She is of Dutch, Scottish and Irish heritage.



 



 Steen is also an animal rights advocate and environmentalist, apart from her entertainment business. Steen supports David Suzuki, the World Society for the Protection of Animals, and the Western Canadian Wilderness Committee. She is a certified diver and is proficient in a variety of circus arts, such as stilt-walking and fire-twirling.
